Exhaust Fans

I set up everything last night. Decided for the time being to duct my hood to my fan then out of the tent, as I don't run a filter at the moment. Leaving the other end of the hood to pull the air out of the tent across the bulb. Have one passive vent partially open on the opposing side/ bottom. I also have my probe sensor just above my hood, did it this way so the fan will kick on occasionally and draw in fresh air. Being the top of the tent is slightly warmer the furthest from the passive intake.

I have the Cloudline S6 with Controller 67. Set my max temp to 75 f and turns my fan speed on 1. Incrementing every 2 degrees. I woke up this morning and checked the graph. As expected it bounced between 74/75 all night, subsequently turning the fan on well over 100 times in one night.

Running my lights at night to control temps through winter. 400wHID. Air Cooled Hydrofarm Hood.

Completely new to tent grows and the need for this kind of environment management. Is this an issue? Do these fans have duty cycles that I'm quickly depleting?

Should I always have my fan on speed 1, and increment up as needed? I'm also using it for minor humidity control so I feel if its always on it wont have a chance for humidity to build within tent. I understand that is also environmental, but with a DWC setup isn't there always a level of humidity emanating from the buckets?

Thanks!

I've been running multiple ac infinity fans this way for over 2 years on the oldest one. No issues yet! AND their warranty/customer service is supposed to be top notch.

Alright great. This thing has such a low anf smooth start, doesn't even seem like it uses a surge of electricity.
