exhausting room air through light reflector

I have been experimenting with my soon to be growroom and I need help on something. I have pretty good room temps because half of the room is underground and the temps are pretty cool. I have been doing test on my lighting to see how my new aircooled hood would work. With no circulation fans, and no exhaust fans, I can run the 400 mh/hps lighting and the temps max out at 81 degrees after an hour. To me this is a good thing because I am in a good range already before I start moving air.

I own a 6 inch inline fan that really sucks the air good. Since I do not have insane temps, could I suck the air from the room through the reflector and through a carbon scrubber and be ok.

Yes you can, infact most people do it that way when using a hood. This is how i connect

carbon filter ------hood-------inline fan------out.

I was getting curious if it was better to run the air through the scrubber or exhaust through the thing. Man the set up you described would be beautiful, because I can stop spending my fucking money nowkiss-ass.
So I can kill 2 birds with one stone. Yippee!!!
