Look at the lights in the pics. I just got a new 1000 watt lights for flowering and i took my cfl and placed them on the top of the buckets underneath the branches and the leaves. These darn purple kush is kinda bushy. Has anyone ever did this before to get the lights to the middle of the plants?? I put saran wrap on the cfl casing so that the leaves dont touch the bulb. I thinking this might help out the plant grow their mids. Do you guys think its worth the electricity to do so?? Ok 1000watts are 20" away from the top of the plants. The cfl s are right underneath the plants that i cant get directly under the big 1000 watter.DSC03156.jpgDSC03157.jpg

Ive been told thy dont like light from the unerneath. not natural. just what ive heard, not sure of any side affects
Lol I heard the opposite, just never had the motivation to try it. I would avoid excessive heat to the bottom of the canopy but light shouldn't matter. If I were going to add extra lights however, I would hang em vertical for side lighting. Cnsidered bare HIDs for this or possibly high wattage cfls.

these cfl s are 32 watts x 2.....they dont put out hardly any heat. i have had leaves burnt when they touch the bulbs, that is why i used saran wrap to keep the leaves off. But really? they dont like lights shooting at the from the buttom of the leaves??? I was going to put put the side ways with some homemade brackets but my arthritis is hurting me pretty bad today so the best that i can do is lay them under the plants. After doing so they look like it might be alright and help the plant...just wondering of they will do alot of good or am i just wasting electricity. And know im wondering if it might bother the plant by shooting the lights to the buttom of the plants. please give me imputs....thanks
