Expert Advice Needed

I would like to provide 5 of my friends with an ounce of medical marijuana every month and one for myself. That is 6 ounces per month.

I need to know from an experienced veteran what type of setup would accomplish this. How many lights at how many watts?

I plan on growing White Widow. Also, additional information on how to cycle my plants to get this amount monthly would be very useful as well.

I'm only a newbie in the sense of never being involved with a grow before. I have researched and studied the subject thoroughly. I am familiar with most terms and concepts.

Thanks for your time. And any information at all will be appreciated.

you should look up SOG (sea of green method) the amount of plants will vary due to height, genetics, ect.................... there are so many variables in making your final weight so just keep on reading and learning SOG.

rough guide newbie 1-2 gram/4watts, experienced 1/watt, pro 2 grams/watt (state of the art maybe higher)
600 watts are the most efficient so I'm guesstimating 2 - 600 watt flowering, 400 watts veging. Clone mother maintanence 150 watts.

Do you have any growing experiance? Takes a few grows to dial in your techniques to max out on yields .For instance aero/hydro produces the biggest yields but its alot more technical .On the other hand those who master there niche can come close to matching those yields .

It all depends on what your working with and what you want. If you want to maximize the yield on a couple of plants I would look into L.S.T, It's fairly easy and anyone can easily find/make the materials to pin the plant down, plus there are many guides that can be found on this website.
