It seems in every "is this ready" thread posted here, no matter how good the bud looks in the pics (to me, at least), the answer here is always "the bud needs 2-3 more weeks"! Without fail. LOL :D

I want to see some pics of bud that IS ready! Mine needs 4 weeks more - I think. Ha

Cheers

Lol I tried starting a thread for ripe buds so new people can check them out but it didn’t get any traction.

here’s one though

i think the easiest thing to spot is when the buds sprout the little knobs that are like partial foxtails. Idk if every strain does that though.

Two main reasons, one is because new growers will often post pics near the breeder's suggested time, which is almost never reliable and typically 2-4 weeks too soon. And the second is, so many people still use the old bro-science method of "scoping trichomes" and looking for some arbitrary percentage of amber, or worse yet, they harvest as soon as they see cloudy trichomes. Combined, these two reasons are the reason why 95%+ of newbies, and probably 50%+ of experienced growers harvest early. And thus, every day we see pics of plants that are 2-4 weeks from harvest time.
