Extra dose of potash

I woke up this morning and there was a light covering of ash all over everything. There's been forest fires in the area lately and the ash settled in the valley. There was so much on my plants that I wanted to wash it off with a light spray of water. My plants are in late flowering stage, will it do them any harm.

I would check the PH though. Many organic growers use ash to change their PH (i dont know what kind)

potash is actually mined out of the earth. but no, ashes won't hurt them. just rinse them off.
