extremely narrow grow room

the title sounds somewhat bad already, but I'm starting my small op soon . very soon. and Im asking about dimensions here. will 400 watts be satisfying enough for a 18"x50"-70"x9 feet and three autoflowering plants? im guessing it will be okay, but i dont want hot spots to be an issue when i get that big ol 400 in that small area. my walls are white, but i was considering putting aluminum on them. (cheap grow so far)..
also i wont have any ventilation besides a oscilating fan. tubing isnt an option in the setup i have for now so if anyone can offer any help for temp problems?? it shouldnt get to hot because my room is gonna get FREEZING in the winter.

dont bother with the aluminium just make sure the white is bright, you may need to heat during the lights out period, if it gets too cold it will shock and stuntyour plants and a prolonged cold spell could kill them. you will need the fan, its a shame you cant vent.

We'll you are lucky it gets freezin because the 400 without ducting will heat that space up a lot. I'm guessing a closet? Probly hiding it fro parents since ducting isn't an option. Without ducting and a filter it will get really stinky and noticeable. I suggest not going chinsey on a set-up. You may be dissapointed with a cheap grow.

also I would get a good reflector, one that spreads like an adjust awing. i know you are only doing 3 plants now but trust me after this run you will want to do more than 3. good luck!

yes thank you all for the input! i plan on just doing this for the first time i grow. I dont have much cash available at the moment so when i do get some extra, ill be spending it on more necessities and upgrades. i will eventually buy a tent with ventilation so none of this would be a problem. its actually at my apartment but im still trying not to have ducting going out of my window from the closet. how would i get the venting out the closet door without having the door open anyhow? and a small space heater is no problem since i might be buying one for the cold winter nights anyhow!

I would holehog a vent hole in the door if that was my only option but sounds like you dont want to augment the place too much. i would rock it and see what happens. post some pics if/when you can. good luck

for this grow u will need carbon filter and a inline fan to scrub the air. your going to need a co2 bottle regulator and co2 controller. you will also need a a/c unit ( a small one will work).
do this and youll have the best room ever made. keep room white, consider going soilless, and rock with some diecent nutes. also consider growing og kush next run. sour diesel if u cant find kush.

yeah ill be posting a journal once i finally get the seeds and set up the light and whatnot. within a few days it will have started.

mongo frog, i will add all of that eventually, i just dont have the time or cash for it right now, but mainly the cash. although i was considering a DIY CO2 bubbler for around the canopy. also ive always considered those strains hah, its just a matter of when i will try em out!
