extremely noobish setup lol

get something non-flammable over your lights to deflect that wasted light to the plants. Gather all those cords up neatly to reduce electrical hazard (the guitarist in me I guess) and make sure all devices are plugged into a surge suppressor and not directly into an AC outlet.

Actually, you can get a "Y" for your CFL's so you don't have to run so many clip on attachments. :)

WTF is that? Lmao funny ass setup with a ladder and a 2 by 4... get drop lights loose the ladder and is this in a closent? Or your bathtub cuz I'm pretty sure those look like shower curtains?

Or, he can get 4 y splitter, and have 8 bulbs, and keep all the clip ons.

And get something to reflect the light back to the plants. your letting lots of lumens spread throughout the room, instead of onto the plants.

One of those windshield sun deflectors from the auto section. And Kron's advice on the "Y" splitters is your best bang fior the buck to concentrate your light and reduce unions.

I didn't know they made 4 ways. I run 250w CFL's and 1000w HPS, so... the heck do I know about 23w CFL's? Sorry, that ain't my dept.

this looks like it took more effort to set up than a normal setup.. although it is creative. It seems like people around here are always throwing away wood, I took some and built a grow box with a staple gun bought a mylar blanket for like 2 dollars and stapled that to it then built a screen from twine and a picture frame using a staple gun, I built a nice grow box and a screen for the cost of the mylar. as for the lights like mentioned before get a Y splitter. if you don't know what it is ask the guy at home depot they are like 2 dollars. I added some cfls to my grow box and built a reflector using aluminum cans that I cut and shaped and put foylon as reflective surface. and as for those lights, you should try and take them apart and remove the socket cord that way you don't have a whole desk lamp dangling there. and in shitty situations ive cut off sockets and cut the cords and reattached. splice that bitch back together and BAM, nice grow light. I don't recommend this im just saying its an option. there are many ways to go about building grow equipment.
