Alright so lets get to business, we are starting our first week of flowering (as you can see from the pictures) and the nodes are completely filling with white hairs already (about 5-9 hairs per node already). I'm also starting to get that early bud smell from the plants too, its quite pleasant when I go out to give them their water :)

This is my main plant so far, big and bushy, I've counted what looks to be about 6-8 tops where nice top colas will be forming, some great smoke for sure!

Alrighty here they come!

The big sister!:

This would be my second that I started; I topped it and amazingly got 6 full arm length branches instead of 4. I'm going to hit it up with the flowering ferts soon to get nice flowers on them.

Picture of little sister:

Due to over feeding the big mother fertz to much when i started has resulted in damaged colas:

As I said above I plan to give the bloom nuterience in about 4 days, since they've been flowering for 3-4 days. I want to give them at least a week to get into the flowering stage then give them food for blooming. I'm so happy they are flowering so fast already, I have a feeling I'm going to be getting think, dense buds this harvest :) Cant wait!

But farewell guys,
That is all for now I will bring more goodies in a week or so with some pure flowers :)

COMMENT AWAY; I don't really think you guys can give anymore suggestions, its just time to sit back and let her flower into the beauty she was ment to be.

(First outdoor grow by the way)

This was taken from my advice thread that I used to figure out what fertilizers to buy, etc.. I just wanted to make an official grow thread for the flowering and budding process of the plants.

I hope you enjoy!

From what I can see they look good. Be careful using your phone man-- I know iPhones now have GPS coordinates attached to the pic info./properties, and I imagine other cells do to. I know, I know, I'm a little paranoid but I figure better safe than sorry. I figured it was at least worth mentioning.

Again your plants looking happy and healthy, keep up the good work. Happy growing man. Cheers.

Due to over feeding fertz I think thats why this happened:

If you read what i said, the one seems to have been over fed with fertilizer thats why the leaves are burning up.

spots, and droppy leaves would show signs of spidamites

What could possibly be playing with the dirt my buckets. Squirrels trying to bury something?

Something has been digging at my buckets; i have lots of squirrel activity happening in my back yard and almost every week sometimes it will happen two to four times a week. The dirt will all be moved around at the top, and most of the time theres a little spot where what ever it is was trying to start make a hole; maybe a inch and a half deep (not enough to hit roots, i also added more dirt to the buckets to top them up when this started happening)

Its been happening for quite awhile, and I think Im going to put up a little fence around the buckets to stop it hopefully. But what do you guys think it is? It's lately been starting to tick me off since their starting to flower and i dont want anything touching them and disturbing them.

Yeah a physical barrier will be your best bet to deter critters. Could also be birds going after bugs in the dirt, raccoons, skunks or even an armadillo if you live in the right area. Squirrels won't dig in there unless they think there is something to dig. I have tons of squrriels and they only bother trees and plants with actual edibles. Completely off subject, I read an article years ago on a squirrel study that showed squirrels would not only hide nuts in the winter and remeber their exact location, but also would create fake hiding spots when other squirrel would watch them dig holes to hide their nuts. Essentially one paranoid squirrel tricking another! I've got a pecan tree I never yield anything from bc of these guys know the exact day the pecans are ready to be picked!

In regards to your nutes, during flowering you want the N.P.K. to be higher on the P. and K. I'm currently using Fox Farms tiger bloom, but they are numerous ferts that people swear by for flowering. Also look into unlsufured and/or black strap molasses for your soil. It helps to promote the growth of microorganisms that are good for your soil medium. In turn the soil helps with happy and healthy plant growth. Good luck with your grow. Cheers.

I was thinking a thin cage lining would be perfect but then again I was also thinking about putting them completely in the ground. Would that help increase the yield at all?
