Hi all...Just wondering after setting up the carbon filter and extraction fan correctly in a tent,is it safe enough to extract up into a roofspace/attic?I was told a while back that the moisture being extracted aswell could damage wooden rafters and Joists in the roofspace over time...Last thing i want or need...If it is ok then great but if not could any1 advise me on a handy alternative...Thanks in advance,:)

Correct. If your exhaust is damp, it will collect in your attic and could cause problems. Also, if you live in a cold climate, it will be a dead give away that you're growing pot if you have the only roof on the street with melted snow.:oops::oops:

Unless you live in a crappy house. they'll just think your house is poorly insulated. :) :)
seriously if you don't have alot of heat, just a couple of lights you should be ok to exhaust to the attic. Your attic is vented ridge cap probly. The little bit of heat should dissipate, just make sure the exhaust air is blowing into the open area, not up against any wood where the warm are could for condensate.
