See, this is exactly the kind of thing I was talking about in my thread about "both sides."
Rational, informed people understand that media outlets such as those publishing this stuff are in the business of keeping their readers reading. So, they do what is called "sensationalizing." That is your new word for the day. All they are doing is taking something that has a modicum of truth and monumentally exaggerating and distorting it.
Rational, informed people understand that it is beyond outrageous to claim that Corporations that earn billions in profit pay no income tax. Do they have all sorts of ways of lessoning their tax burden? Of course they do. After all we are talking about billions of tax dollars and a tax code that hits them with double taxation - of course they try to take advantage of any loopholes.
Has anyone ever wondered if lessoning their tax burden in the first place might make such measures unnecessary? Probably not.
At any rate, the tax codes for huge multinational corporations is very complex and only a moron would believe that there are huge multinational corporations earning tens of billions and not paying any taxes. Those media outlets publish that crap because it keeps these same morons consuming their product.
I actually own a corporation (albeit a much smaller one) but I can tell you that we pay additional taxes tat the employees don't. In fact, I must match what my employees pay for state and Medicaid. And I pay into unemployment and workman's comp as well. I also pay tax on every asset my business owns each year as well as property tax on my building. And in MI there used to be a single business tax that was 1% of your gross weather you made or lost money.
Get a clue people, stuff like that isn't real, it is nothing but red meat for radical morons.
