I think they just recently did a line for t5s (super veg) been wanting to try those, just don't have anywhere to put my t5 currently

Yes,the power veg is for uv, they also did some very red and some very blue tubes too. They're set to do "white hps" and DE but no word of that yet.

Ive used the 600 and it works great but puts out a ton of heat as expected.
I prefer and have gotten better results with ushio brand hps i also noticed ushios degrade slower but dont have data to back that up, just observations

I used the 600 eye hortilux super hps in a side by side comparison! get this, 2 5x5 tents running same strain,same everything to be exact! using Apollo horticulture cool tube hoods, one tent with a BRAND NEW eye hortilux bulb ,other tent with a BRAND NEW Apollo hps bulb... i'll give everyone one guess which one outperformed the other......................WRONG! the Apollo buds were denser ,fatter and stickier than the others. blew my fukin mind i'll say! I spent 80 bucks on the eye hortilux bulb..... needless to say im keeping that bulb for a backup!!! just my experience tho!

Pretty cool, was it Apollo ballast by chance? For example my 2 600s are lumatek and I have ran lumatek bulbs since one of my other 600s burnt up.

See that's what I don't understand guys are saying the yield with the Apollo bulbs are good. I yielded a good crop 2 months ago on Apollo HPS. However if you look on the spectrum chart on the back of the Apollo box the spectrum sucks compared to the higher end bulbs

I am currently using Apollo Ballast, Bulb, and Hood. I am satisfied with the products only upgrade considering is the bulb.

From the sounds of it I wouldn't... Seems that the ballast bulb combo can actually produced proven results by @diamonddav

The ballast bulb combo might be able to put out more lumens, and I would take more lumens over a few hundred degrees kelvin any day, remember people have grown all the way through with either spectrum with great results before.

yes I do believe it was a lumens thing, it appeared much brighter and on the bluer side of the spectrum, while the eye hortilux was more toward the orange /red side, which is supposed to be what you want.... but, results don't lie!!!! im a firm believer in the Apollo gear, I haven't had one problem yet after two years and I have two 5x5 tents with cool tube hoods 600 watts, all Apollo gear. you cannot beat it for the price

Good deal, I'm looking at setting up another 3x3 tent (will forsure look at a 600 Apollo) along side my 2x4 veg clone tent to run autos or single dwc buckets or if I can't keep my flower room down in the heat of the summer upstairs then I should be able to keep the temps fine in the basement so I don't mess up my veg clone schedule for perpetual.
