Ez cloner

What do you guts throw in your EZ cloner.

i am currently using aqua shield, clonex solution (not gel), and rez clear.
ppms around 560
water temp 74-75

I dont like to dip into gel anymore, seems as if it rots the stem and got same results without dipping them

but is it bad to run higher ppms in the beginning of the rooting cycle?
should i just switch the clonex for some KLN?

I have been using GH rapid start and a little aqua shield. That is all I use and have had 100% succucess with that combo.

I use nothing but distilled water, rockwool cubes, and a heated rooting tray with a dome over it, and I have 100% success.

*On edit
Just remembered, I do give them something. Every couple days I give then a smidge of H2O2 to keep them sterile.

No gel for me . Just the recommend dose on the bottle. And I change out every 7 days. Then at two weeks they are ready to go.

straight tap water. no additives or adjusting ph. i have lost one clone out of thousands this way and all are rooted in 7-10 days.

I dip in clonex gel. And just tap water for the first week. Dump the water then RO water with DYNA-GRO K-L-N to a ppm of 100. And leave till ready to transplant.

does anyone foliar spray their clones in the EZ?

bio ag full power saying to spray unrooted plants 20ml per gallon.

I used full power but didn't see a difference. But from time to time I use it to fog the dome. I use a turbokloner. So it has a dome.

10mL/gal of Liquid Karma in tap water, rez temps over 80, roots in 4-7 days, under cfls. I haven't changed my cloner rez in over a month, lol. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Foliar feeding clones is a bad idea. It will only weigh them down and make them think they don't need roots. Why grow roots if you're getting fed trough leaves?

No real need for a dome. But I'm in a area where it's dry as fuck so clones done like it. Normal air is around 10-20% in summer. So with dome I can get 60-80%. clones should be in 40% or better. This helps from drying out befor roots start. Once rooted no need for a dome.

My first time cloning yesterday I used just the clone gel and put it in foxfarm earth worm castings and bat guano. You think that'll work it's alive as of now lol.

Your clones will be fine. But after rooting put them in something not so alive. 707 or happy frog works great in solo cups. Then move to a 1 gallon pot of FFOF and what ever you mixed with. 50/50. Next pot 3-5 gallons use FFOF and perlite. 80/20 mix then your golden. 60 days later use guano in the water to get 14 more days and then add nutes. 1/4-1/2 strength ofcourse.

Hey warlock have you run with and without K-L-N? You notice a difference with it?

Yes. Without, clones looked dead before roots. When I use it they only look like shit. Lol. Cloning is hard. Can't say there dead till there dead. I don't do 6" clones. 3" is average. I veg under T5 so that is out of my range. 8 weeks of veg there only 16" tall. I grow pure indica master kush. So it's a slow plant. Not saying others will grow better
