Just don't crank the fan up too much. For my last grow I put a 12" table fan in my grow tent and even on the low setting, I ended up with pretty bad wind burn. I now have a much smaller 6" fan that puts out just the right amount of air to get the leaves moving a little. My stems are nice and thick as a result.

nice breeze keeps air moving, keeps temps down and makes strong stems, iv got nice thick stems and my babies are still small and growing

Hell Yes, airflow is KEY, if they cant take direct fan flow at first, move the fan back. The one major factor that keeps mold and mildew from reproducing is Airflow.

Proper airflow and ventilation can be just as good as injecting c02 in some cases.
