fan help!!

So I have a 2x4x6 foot grow tent which I'm rigging a fan/carbon filter to. Basically I can't fit any of it in my tent so would setting up these like this work…..

Ducting leading from exhaust hole on top of tent to 4" inline fan (183w 165 cfm) controlled by a variable speed controller, then about 5 feet of tubing running to a carbon filter where the air exhausts from. The intake is a port hole in the bottom of the tent, covered by a 6" clip fan.

So I'm going

duct --> fan ---> duct ---->filter

Right idea?

I would have the suction from the fan pulling thru the filter to discharge out of grow area or thru ur cool tube for light

Yea I wanted to put the inter on the inside and the fan pulling air thru it but to little space. I'm pretty much stuck on the way I have it, where it blows thru and not in. And also how far should ducking between the three mine is 7' duct --> fan --->4 ft duct---> filter

You should have two fans for any tent and both should be outside of the tent. There is no reason to put them inside. Duct everything and make sure you are drawing your air and not blowing it. One fan should be cooling your light and the other fan should be used for the carbon filter and both should be independent of each other and have their own controllers. TRy to keep your ducting as straight as possible. The more turns you make with it the less effective it will be.

^^^^^This. This is the only way to go. Total control over air/odor and cooling, independent of each other. Put your cooling fan on your lights timer and let the filter fan run 24/7. I run a speed controller on the filter, and just let the cooling fan run full bore. It doesn't need to, just haven't gotten a controller for it yet. Should have 2 anyaway, backup.

Do you have room to rig up a 4" exhaust Bashar? That's all I use for cooling a 600W in a 48x48x80". (fans are outside tent) You could Y the filter right out with the cooling I think since you would always have your filter running w/ lights on if not more.

I'm using a 240w LED and 150w LED panel running in my tent. I have the port for the exhaust for the tent right above the LED panels (They should be the hottest right directly above them right? I mean hot air rises and they're the only thing in the tent that is really producing a lot of heat). The opening is approx. 4" for the exhaust and gets lead out of the tent by about 5' of ducting to a 4" inline fan on a controller. From there it gets blown about 2 feet to a carbon filter where the air is pushed out by my bed room window.

Inside the tent there is also an osculating fan that's 12" and a 6" intake port located at the bottom of the tent opposite the exhaust. Im going to have a 6" clip on fan attached to the intake (it's in the mail atm).

Right now I have a neg. pressure as I can feel air being drawn in from the intake port. Also with the exhaust fan on max. it creates a lot of suction at the mouth of the port that takes out the air.

Now I have a bit of a heat issue. My bed room gets really damn hot all day and night, the ambient room temp. hits 81*c easily everyday. This in turn is making my grow tent hit 84*F with no lights on and 92*F with the 240w and 150w LEDS on. Now I don't have the clip on fan yet so maybe that'll help with the temp. but Im guessing it won't really do much. I have two 25L water chillers running to each 5 gallon bucket I'm using (2 buckets) which will be fed by 88GPH pumps. I'm setting the water temp to be 18*C to get max dissolved O2 and keep away root rot. Now, will the chilled water help act as heat sinks to dissipate some of the heat (they'll be full of 15L water each)? Also I found a small A/C at walmart for 100$ its 5000BTU and 120sqft, I'm think this is gonna be my best bet to use this for the high temp.

Yea my post from last night I re-read and it was all garbled up, I had been up for 2 days and had just smoked some thc oil I made and was a little too high lol. I dunno even what I was talking about.
