would it be ok to give my fan leaves a little trim to expose budsites more or will this stress the plant peace

Try tucking them under the buds if you can, only cut some if necessary

I learned to gently tuck and bend them out of the way. I sometimes tie back a fan leaf that is not on board with the program. A little bondage and discipline is good for the plant. lol

pulling too many fans WILL stunt the plants growth. just leave em. let it grow. its like removing the solar panels in your solar energy system and still expecting it to work.
i never ever cut em till they are starting to crisp up and it hasnt affected the bud development.
all you need to do is go get a 100 hps lamp or some cfls and provide side lighting, rather than starting to pull shit off the plant.

wow really? i pull so much material off towards the end of VEG and take off all of the little branches that wont produce much in flower. I noticed it really does help with quality/yield. This way the plant doesnt have to use energy/light on unwanted material i.e. leaves, the buds take in all the energy and the plant focuses on the BUDZ and resin production. i know people who take off every leaf at day 15/Flower.

ya know I gotta say this guy is right. I amd oing an experiment now. and the two I trimmed below the screen completely the top buds are MASSIVE the ones that I did not trim below the surface I dont think I will get nearly as much...but it all in the end depends on what works for you strain and how well they take it..experiment see what YOU like not everyone else..
