fan leaves help?

i was wonderig is it the fan leaves that supply and grow the bud or is it the little leaves around the bud.i have been cutting the larger fan leaves here and there but i hope im not hurting the plant or going to lower my yield by doing so.

You shouldn't cut the fan leaves. They're like little solar panels and convert the light into energy for the plant.

as Cr8z13 said dont cut any leafs off if the are dying due to maturity then just leave them and they will fall of naturally.
fan leaves are extremely important for the plants growth and health.
