Not over nute it made a soft solution to see what happens. Luck can't be said for my auto nother light. Same this has happend to the fan leaves but now almost all leaves have yellow spots. Not rust spots but yellow. Don't know if tere gonna die. Got theses plants not as baby's but one week ago. Girl who gave them said she thinks he over nutes them. Please help I don't know what to do. Haven't flushed just giving light and brita filleted water that has been laying out for 2 days. Maybe ph problem don't know Help. It's a first grow.

Looks like insects to me with all the small spots all over the leaves, as tallstraw mentions. Also get a ph meter and use it. Very important item.

Put up pictures that were not taken under a HPS light.

Nobody can see anything but a yellow plant.

I thinks it's mites man, and thr other plants idk. But the one reminds of how my spider miyes startd and took me a while to notice. Looks close for webs. Grab some mighty wash, doktor doom, and neem. 3 days of doctor doom up down left right, all around, bottom first thrn top. Then use mighty wash, same deal for 2 days, then neem oil, same deal. And start including it in a spray every so often for foliar feeding, and nutrient feeding. No signs of spider mites since....if you see webs and eggs and black dots under the leaves that is.

Those are the quick snaps I took before work. When I get home around 8pm it's 436 now I'll upload some better and light off. I'd appreciate if you guys can check back at that time. Would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think its likely that the bottom leaves, which are shielded fron most direct sunlight, got burned by the water magnification, and thr tops didnt. See if it slowly starts to move up the plant

Also I misted the plants with the lights on could that have done all those spots.
from the pics it defo looks like a burn too me and i think this is why, you should try to mist at the start of lights on, give them an hour to wake up and start max photosynthsis then remove and spray for best effects i have found, and also take the plants out from under the lights and mist them, water on a hps bulb makes quite the bang!!

EDIT : ive also found over the years to go with your gut, if you feel that was worth mentioning do you feel thats the problem??

Thats
is what I thought to. But now I have to figure out why both plants fan leaves are getting yellow then rust spots than dying

Ok guys here are two new pics lights off. The plant with buds again is my auto white widow. Now I know autos have a life expectancy and also leaves do drop when it takes the energy for bud production. Now this is my first grow. My auto planted 2/17 and sprout 2/20 flowered 4/8. Now the girl I bought them from had them on a 12 12 which is dum! So I'm assuming its in its late flower stage and maybe that's why the leaves are dying off. I nee someone with multiple grows to tell me if this is true. The girl said she thought she over nute them. So if anyone with experience can confirm if it's the normal life cycle or nute burn.

Now as for my Afgan which is the second picture. As you can tell new growth is great. But older fan leaves are turning yellow and getting sum rust spots. Now I listed to the girl as she thinks she over nuted both. So when I got the Afgan it was fine, green. I haven't given any food since the 6th so I'm thinking maybe the yellowing is from me not feeding and is a nitrogen deffi. So again guys your input and experience is much needed and appreciated !!!! Btw Afgan sprouted in dirt 2/18

So you have had them for a week and they may be over nuted? I think I agree. It's a strange looking nute burn, might be deficiencies too, but those rusty crispy leaves are phosphorus burn. I'm not big on flushing but I think I would flush these and start using a complete feed like Floranova or Dynagro after they dry out some.

Never have I been given this advice. Those HPS turn up to full capacity and intensity quick and you're in no beter shape then if youd sprayed them dueing the lights on. Atleast that's what I've read. You spray before lights go off. To each his own, whatever works for you is what you should work with.
