can you take a photo of the plant?? why would you cut your shade leaves off?
I read it online, I am new to growing its trial and error for me atm, I thought the bits underneath them will get more sun n food as they were massive, I made canni butter with them will get photos later I have limited mobility so can't get to the shed or green house, took a photo a few days ago will find it

As far as i know, the trimming of fan leaves is for indoor growing for the reason you just mentioned, indoor growth.
im guessing it was just the largest of the leaves and that your not back to just stems ???
out side you dont have to bother, also you will stunt growth as you have taken away the plants ability to produce rapid growth.
i allways leave shade leaves on for protection of the side shoots.
you would be amazed at just how much sunlight can penatrate the shade leaves too

Youll be alright if you didnt take all of them like mentioned.
If you left a few you may have just helped with airflow is all...

For the cannabutter though... There was likely 0% psychoactive ingredients in any of those fan leaves right now, so the butter was pointless, and basically is just plant flavored green butter now, so dont expect anything from it.

Otherwise, post here before making any major changes, youll read a ton of crap online most of which doesnt apply in your situation, and the rest even if it did wouldnt work or do damage...

Other than that...Welcome. Stick around and post some updates as she grows.
Cheers. :leaf:

Those plants should take some the abuse. They are healthy. I would refrain from taking large shade leaves above half way outdoors. And no higher than the fifth node indoors. Although they can be large. They are proving energy you need. Today was trim day. The front left plant is approaching maximum trim. 004.jpg001.jpg

indeed - so just as much that still the light will be captured, but hopefully more by inner shoots, not fanleaves, so that there will be more budsites later...

It is necessary. But there are limits. As long as you stay below Half the height or length of branch you'll be fine with A healthy plant until week 3 of flower. Glad I helped.
