Fan Leaves

I have a plant outdoors that is over 4 foot tall. I don't know the strain but the leaves are really dark green and there kinda wide. I assume it's an indica strain. The leaves all had 9 fingers on each leaf. Once it got to about 4 foot, the leaves now all have 7 fingers on each leaf. Does this mean anything?..Thanks

yeah, it means you have seven fingered leaves, thats about it, the plant will go back to 5 then 3 and eventually all you will get is 1 bladers, of course your plant will be almost all the way finished by then. it's just the life cycle of the plant, it starts with one finger, then 3 then 5,7,9,11,13,15, usually you wont see more than nine fingers, and it will start to decline again as the plant matures.
