Fan use in 3x3 box

I'm considering starting a few mother plants in a 3x3 grow box in the bedroom. Due to noise issues, I will not be able to run the fan at night while I am sleeping. I wanna ask if this is ok since the light will not be on and heat should not be an issue. I plan on constructing the box out of ply wood and having a couple of vents cut on each side of the box. btw I will be using floros for light source.

If you want you could use a couple or few PC fans for it to keep bringing fresh air into the grow box.

That what I was thinking, although if its only 4 ft from my bed this could pose a noise problem. Do you think it would be ok if the whole top of the box was left off for ventilation?

You can buy a 200mm PC fan that can move up to around 110 CFM.

You shouldn't leave the top off of the veg or flowering area because light can get in to it. Also that's where you can introduce a light filtering system. This will stop light from coming into the area or going out of it.

I think I will just keep the top fixed then as it would be difficult to hang lights. I will look into the pc fan. Is the noise from these fans about the same as the average computer.

If the comp is running those kinds of fans then yes. Depending on the grade of PC fan you get they can move alot of air but not make alot of noise.

If I can find a way to do it I might try PC fans on a home made mover to help move the air around more.
