Fans an filters

how do all. I was just thinking about filters and fans for a grow room and devised a question. Once you've found the volume of air and a fan to exchange it 2-3 times a minute, and considering you want odor control, does the filter cfm need to match the fan's? To clatrify, can you use a 435cfm fan with a 235 filter and get results?

you can but it will lower the cfm of the fan if you need a 435cfm fan for your grow room you'd be better off getting a matching filter

Understood. Anybody else? Im thinknig the vacuum will be slowed by the lower cfm'ed filter, right?
