I sure haven’t seen a whole lot of love (actually none) spewing from the mouth of Trump or his minions. Lots of hate for others that actually do promote love and equality, but ya, not so much love. You all are, I believe at the cliffs edge, and turning the herd away is what is needed now. The only way to do that is to get in front and block them. As was once said, “when they go low, we go lower”, truer now more than ever before.

What about if they want to murder or suppress people based on their race? What about if they commit treason to their country by supporting a known traitor and criminal? What if they want to tear the country down because someone else is getting some too? I speak plainly, anybody who supports or votes for republicans is a traitor, they took it to this point, not patriotic Americans. Trump is still the leader of the republicans and that should tell you all you need to know. Both sides are not the same, one side betrayed the constitution and still does, if laws and elections can't deal with it then civil war will. It's not even about a majority, it's about the constitution, without it you are no longer the United States.

What you see is a reaction to something initiated by others, who are actually motivated by hate, fear and bullshit. Don't you think Trump and those who support him should get such a reaction? I mean that's what triggering the libs is all about, then you whine when you succeed? Hate is often met with hate, some people and religions whine about it, but it is the tried and true method. Do you expect someone in Ukraine to love the Russians? It's the same in America, but just a matter of degree, when someone attacks your country, constitution and rights it is normal to hate their guts. What's the problem?

It's like it is, humans will always be in a state to not agree, criticise, oppose others, fight etc... It's because what situation we were born into, for what noone is to blame, but we have to decide which weapons we not allow us. And maybe in the best of all others, no one did.
This is now not the first time I've read publicly hate-speech or intrinsically anti-democratic slurs from the very same group. "Otherthinkers" shouldn't be allowed to vote. Or, having to pay a fine for voicing certain political ideas.
This violates democratic freedom.
By using their coordinated group-trolling, intensive fake argumentative coercion, you put yourself now in the power position, and here comes the ugly side of human nature out - the extremists show face. Under the disguise of good! HATE - watch out for it! This is supposed to be a stoner place, so how can you not be empathic?

Look, when people are under threat they generally organize into formal and informal groups and part of that process is enforcing group conformity and unity, it's as instinctive as the tribalism that evokes it. I joined a tribe that aligns with my values, both in America and in Ukraine, wherever the fight for liberal democracy is. From your posts in the past I don't have too much disagreement with you and I'm not climbing aboard you, like I do with trolls. Trying to sit on the fence in judgement however will mean you will get shot from both sides in no man's land. Unlike many things, this is not an ambiguous situation, in America or in Ukraine for those with values.
The fact that Roger is so pissed off means he has values that are being offended, but it also means he will respect the rule of law and the results of elections. I've joked that Trump should be burned at the stake on the capitol lawn FFS, perhaps he should be, but that's not how the law works. In fact, one of the problems is the law doesn't seem to work for Trump and at this point he appears to be above it, with special rights that nobody else enjoys. This is bound to piss some people off, aside from his attempted coup.

how can i not be empathetic? i am empathetic, but i save my empathy for the Ukrainians, the LGBTQ people the republicans are fucking with, the women of the country who the republicans are trying to turn into baby bearing hand maidens to their fucked up religious crusade, the veterans the republicans spit on, the minorities the republicans are trying to disenfranchise...the school kids who have been murdered in their class rooms, because republicans lick the boots of the gun industry...even the animals who have been killed, their homes destroyed, because republicans cripple the epa so they can get bigger kickbacks from the oil industry...
