On Tuesday, KTLA reported that a California man has been arrested on hate crime charges, after a series of attacks in which he allegedly tear-gassed women while making derogatory comments.

"Johnny Deven Young, 25, of Anaheim, was taken into custody recently on an a warrant in San Mateo County and has been charged with four felony counts of assault with great bodily injury, four felony counts of illegal use of tear gas, four felony enhancements for the personal use of a deadly weapon, and eight felony hate crime enhancements," reported Cindy Von Quednow. "He also faces five misdemeanor counts of violation of civil rights, according to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office."

"In one case last November, Costa Mesa police discovered two victims were at a local bar and had been separated. A 29-year-old woman later saw a 24-year-old man on the ground and stopped to help him when a man confronted her," said the report. "The suspect, later identified as Young, began 'verbally harassing' the woman, using 'explicit language, saying he wanted to see her genitals, and asked to have sexual relations with her,' police said. The man who was on the ground saw Young harassing the woman and ran to help her. But as the man approached, Young allegedly used a chemical agent to spray the man and the woman, police said."

"Investigators learned Young has a history of targeting or stalking women outside of clubs, bars and in fitness centers. He allegedly approached and followed women while using explicit language and said he wanted to have sex with them while recording the encounters," said the report.
"Two victims had previously come forward and described their encounters with Young, during which they said they were pepper sprayed by the defendant."

According to the report, Young has described himself as an "incel", or "involuntary celibate" — an extremist movement of men who believe they are being oppressed by women who aren't interested in sexual activity with them. Self-described incels have been linked to a number of terrorist attacks, most famously the 2014 Isla Vista shooting.

Far-right groups have also exploited incel culture as a way to radicalize young men into a number of other hate ideologies.

Jason Woolford, a Republican Michigan state representative candidate, recently told a story about confronting a Black family in a Cracker Barrel about why they're wearing face masks during a deadly pandemic when Democrats are purportedly killing Black babies by supporting abortion rights.

In a video flagged by WCPT 820's Heartland Signal, Woolford recently told The Gray Area Podcast that he was baffled to see a Black family wearing masks when they were sitting down at a restaurant, and he decided to ask them about it.

But before that, he threw in a disclaimer to seemingly establish his anti-racist credentials.

"I want people to listen very carefully here so this isn't taken the wrong way," he said. "Let me preface the story to this -- my wife is Mexican."

Woolford then went on to say that he doesn't like designating people by their skin color, which he finds divisive. He then nonetheless said that it was a Black family who was wearing masks at the restaurant, and he took the opportunity to question them about why they might vote for Democrats.

"I told them. I said, 'Don't you find it ironic that the people that are telling you to wear this mask are the same people who go into your inner cities and slaughter the babies of Blacks and Hispanics?" he asked them, despite the fact that he did not know if this particular family actually live in an "inner city."

"Those are the same people who are telling you they care about you and are telling you to wear that mask!" he said.

dominionists.

what i want to know is why a heartbeat matters? you can kill an animal and hook it's heart up to some equipment and keep it alive indefinitely...
when do thoughts start? when does the mind start to actually function? that is when it becomes possible you're taking a life, and not until then. and i'm not sure that's actually a valid parameter...what kind of thoughts and dreams can a newly formed, inexperienced mind have? is kicking fetus kicking because it's had a bad dream, or because it's uncomfortable crammed into a uterus?
of course, i've never understood the cult of child worship that seems to have seized most people...children contribute little to nothing, cost more than an adult to maintain, cannot be trusted to do what they should, and can't effectively defend themselves...so why are they so valued? as proof that your genitalia work? because most people don't want a boat or a motorcycle, or a big screen tv, or a vacation, they want to spend every penny they have maintaining a small human being that contributes nothing to it's own upkeep...
i understand if you cherish your own children, but don't expect me to give one flying fuck about them, i'd rather save the guy who can fix shit, or even a good cook, if it comes down to a choice.

keep in mind that their idea of an evolutionary bottleneck is a big raft.

i'd like to see the context of that statement...i think the Lincoln project guys so a great job, but they sometimes tread at least on the line, if not outright cross it...they NEED the moral high ground, and cannot afford to employ questionable methods.
that being said, i have a lot of confidence that horseface both prefaced and followed that with utter stupidity...
but i'd like to see that whole statement, unedited.
