Fast Bud Start Indoor - Grow Journal

So I'm doing my first grow. I ordered three feminized fast bud seeds, an autoflowering strain. I began the germination process by placing the seeds in wet paper towels on a plate under a bowl. One germinated after two days, the second after three days. I planted each of the seeds in some soil in 4 inch peat cups the days they germinated respectively. So far, the first one to germinate has sprouted and has two leaves. The second has not yet sprouted out of the soil. I will keep them inside on the windowsill, with some exposure to CFL's at night until it gets warm enough to set outside, around May.

As this is my first grow I would love any feedback anyone has to offer or let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

I will post pictures soon.

depending where you are in the world its not a good idea keeping seedlings on a windowsill at night as if its cold outside then the windowsill is the first place to get cold inside an can stunt the plants growth
but good luck with your grow i wanna try autos next time round so il keep an eye on how yours do

Thanks for the advice. I'd been thinking about that because around where I am it still gets down to mid 40's- mid 50's every night so what temperature would it have to be at night for it to be alright for me to transplant outside?

So today is Day 11. There has been very little sunlight here the past week as it has been quite rainy so I think this may be why growth seems stunted. To be honest I can't see any difference between Day 8 and Day 11. She has gotten a bit taller but very little leaf growth. I'm worried because flowering is supposed to start around the end of week two but this plant doesn't look at all ready for anything.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Peat pots are bad in my opinion, they hold back your roots until they finally break through, or you pull it from around your soil before your transplant. You plants should be growing significantly faster than that. Im almost at day 20 and my fast bud is not flowering yet, but my big devil has been for a few days now.
