sadly, i think you're right. i did some further digging and apparently there are at least a few varieties of root aphids and they look different at all stages of growth. people's descriptions about exactly what happened to their plants and what they saw in their soil is dead on. yes, i am fucking DOOMED.

this is on top of having to shut my veg tent the other day because some weird burning smell that i couldn't put my finger on. i haven't even had the time to figure out whether it was the light or some fans or what. it's WHY i was repotting a plant. i had to throw it in flower. after/IF these doomed plants finish i'm going to have to break down the whole grow to get rid of the bugs and start over from scratch, IF my veg light still works. what a fucking week to be growing pot at my place.

It's all good, I had to scratch a perpetual where I harvest every 3 weeks. I have a harvest coming up in a week, But I'm looking at a couple months till the next harvest after that. To be honest, It hasn't even hit me yet, but I know I'm gonna be in a world of pain in a little while here. Maybe I'll try to pick up a teen or two to fill the dead time.

Funny they brought up this thread from the past, and I had already indentified one bug in it, sorry we didn't have better luck with your pest ID.

theres cures for root aphids. washing out your rootball in tepid water, dunking in a medium strong solution of food grade hydrogen peroxide (get it from health food stores, 1 cup to the gallon of water) and repotting with fresh soil will eliminate them, while minimizing disturbance to your plant.

there are also soil treatments that can kill them off, but washing your roots and repotting after a H2O2 dip will be a sure bet. after each grow you HAVE to sanitize your soil, by composting it thoroughly, or by irradiation. Irradiation is faster, and can have your soil back in action in a few days. composting adds nutrients and beneficial microbes that can help prevent recurrence, but you have to compost it real good.

These tiny little bugs move real fast and have six legs. No webbing and they hang around only in the soil and are never on the leaves. I'm wondering if they are harmful to my plants and if so what is the remedy to kill them because Neema oil doesn't do a thing. I've attached an HD video of what I am talking about.
