Hi RUI People,,
I know there are a few guys out there like me...who've tried to allow ganja to be a spiritual component in their lives. I was 18 when I started smoking pot...and it's been with me the whole way.
Later in my life, and deeply immersed in Terence McKenna madness and mushroom taking...it was revealed to me, in a trance, that cannabis sativa was my shamanic ally.
I am curious about the wandering Saddhus of India...what is there life like? What do they think about? How good is the ganja they smoke in their chillums?
So over the years, I've been on a search for the most spiritual and thought provoking weed. Have grown Lamsbread, Burmese sat, Haze, Willie Nelson, and so on...even some Satori. My search is over.
Last winter I grew some landrace sativas. Ace...Golden Tiger. The yield and high were nice and since I'm phasing out smoking, I did a QWET extraction on all of it. I can get a very lovely and deep sativa high with it...despite a large tolerance.
One more element comes into play. Recently my left hip started showing it's wear. In an effort to ease the load on my hip I decided to lose some weight. What works good for me is a fast...so I lose my appetite and don't even think about food.
The weight loss was going good and finally I realized I should check my ketones...5+ Some people don't mind how it makes you feel...others do. I like it and so kept on fasting and was feeling very light and energetic. A friend told me I was a tad hyper...unusual for me.
So night before last...I decided to take a whopping dose of my Thai/Malawi RSO. I had a very clear head and watched an Episode of How the Universe Works. Complex ideas were making sense and I was calm and serene. I meditated for awhile and my body boundaries dissolved...I was one with the universe. It was the most spiritual high I have had in 50 years.
My conclusion isn't quite formulated yet. It was trippy...almost like a psychedelic...but this was a marijuana high on top of a fast. I've never tried this with a different strain. Perhaps it's not so much strain related as it is dose related. But it's actually way cool that I now know exactly how to put myself into a deeply spiritual mental space chemically. I have done this twice now...and both times it was profound.
On my second fast...I was doing an insight meditation on the idea that all possible information exists on the surface of the universe...and all matter is a holographic representation of the information. This idea, it seemed to me, argues in favor of Religion. Wouldn't heaven and hell be little patches in the universal information field? The math would work. Theoretical Physicists confirming religion? I crack myself up.
I guess that'll do it,
JD
PS @New Age United I was thinking of you when I wrote this. This is worth doing.
