Okay, not everyone is crazy about japanese pop culture, but pokemon is so integrated into worldwide pop culture you'd be amazed at how many people don't even know it's japanese.
Yeah, red and blue were great- only Victory Road was quite possible the most infuriating thing I even navigated on a gameboy, especially as I saved right before facing Gary with all my pokemon at like 10 hp. The amount of times I had to turn it off and try again when there was only 1hp between me and the Pokemon Cente outside!!!!!!!

I liked that pussy little fish whose only move was splash. Well maybe not that so much that little bastard but the huge ass dragon mafucker it evolved into. I plugged in pokemon red for the first time in ten years a few months back. Shit, it was actually pretty enjoyable. One thing always disturbed me though, and I'm sure everyone else noticed this as well. When you get fucked up and go to heal your pokemon, the sick bitch at the hospital goes "We really hope all your pokemon get fucked up and we see you again soon!". What kind of sick bastard would say that at a hospital?

Ehh good point, I guess I was just expecting mature people to respect other people and if they saw the word pokemon in the thread title and didn't like pokemon then I thought they would just move on. We had this store that sold the cards and we would hit it once a week for the whole box that had like 100 card packs in it and would sell them to these fucking wierdos that were like 30 and addicted to playing it.There were some good times back then with them pokemon cards.
