Another recipe I like is making Marijuana Hard candy / suckers.
For the sake of explaining how to make a marijuana tincture I'm gonna assume everyone has an idea of how it's made...(basically THC ethanol alcohol extraction that lets the fluid from the extraction sit in a cool dark place for wks. or months to make powerful THC alcohol tincture)
Okay, so 1st we're gonna need:
* 2 cups of granulated or cane sugar
* 2/3 cup light corn syrup
* 3/4 cup water
* 1/2 -1 tsp marijuana tincture (depending on potency of mixture)
* flavoring, or food coloring (optional)
* 1/4-1/2 grams of dried keif per individual serving
*Now you're ready to mix your sugar, corn syrup, and water together in a heavy saucepan/pot and stir before heating up.
begin cooking mixture at the highest possible heat setting with the lid on and let boil for about 2 min, then remove the lid.
For this part you're going to need a candy thermometer ( clip on thermometer works best for me) and clip it into the boiling mixture.
* When the thermometer reaches 285 degrees Fahrenheit, stir dried Keif in blending it in well to distribute throughout candy mixture, then remove saucepan from the heat. ( the temp. will continue to rise to 300 F )
* Let the mixture rest until temp. drops to about 260 ( most of the flavorings will burn out if mixture is above 260.
now you can add the tincture and stir in any desired coloring or flavorings. ( don't stir too much, candy will become grainy)
---Obviously keep in mind that the liquid candy is Extremely hot and can cause very severe burns!---
* Now the candy mixture can be poured onto wax paper into circles for candy drops, or larger puddles and add a stick for suckers.
Let the candy harden (which will harden quite quickly) and wrap in individual foil or saran wrap then place in an airtight container or mason jar giving it a longer shelf life.
I wish I had any pics of the processes as I'm hoping to make some again soon =)
The only tincture i know how to make takes a long time to make it. What method do you use to make ur tincture, or how do you do it???Hey Stickickys, yeah corn usually gets extracted in either oils or sugars (corn oil, corn syrup)so corn syrup contains no oil,
so I'm not sure if you can melt it down in oil.
but Oh! as a substitute for the tincture, just put a larger amount of Pressed keif or JUST hash overall in the mixture when you add your flavorings in place of the tincture. it's a lot easier and it works wonders. The high is quite different because of the straight hash which also gives it this kinda hint of a vaporizer hit (musky, earthy taste & smell) or fresh Trichome taste to the sucker,
The reason I usually use the tincture is because it's more readily available to me. I try to keep it in stock for.. mixed drinks or for in place of flavorings in chocolates & stuff like that,
hey I got a few recipes that I enjoy, and really do the trick.

Hey AkRevo47, most of the recipe is from my grandma making just suckers and the other was what some other ppl told me to use that had done it before I had tried it. And What I end up doing is making enough candy mixture to make some regular hard candy, and suckers so other people I live with can have the regular candy. So I end up leaving about enough for 5 or 6 suckers. I was just giving a rough outline of how much I like to use, give or take. Also when I make tincture I use some very good homegrown Sour diesel, then filter and ring my cuttings and some bud matter through the alcohol many times over and let it sit for about a month or so, so it's really has a knock out potency to it. I've used about a tbsp. or so of it in the candy mixture and it was a bit too intense for where I wanted to be after eating only one sucker, so that's why I like to use a smaller amount.
Oh and about the kief I misunderstood my friend when I asked him about it, he was referring to using kief or hash to make butter then mixing it with the sugar, and corn syrup cuz yeah without infusing it you would just destroy the THC from being cooked. and on another note you actually can eat just hash, I've put a gram -n- 1/2 in some chocolate mouse before and within the hr. I was definitely feeling it.
All that set aside, I hope you find a good amount that works for you, and Good luck =)
hey thanks for the clarification and i get what youre saying now. i made a test batch of suckers yesterday (w/o thc) just to get that recipe right and be sure i can make it. so ill post my reuslts too.Hey AkRevo47, most of the recipe is from my grandma making just suckers and the other was what some other ppl told me to use that had done it before I had tried it.
