Favorite Sativa or Sativa Dominant?

If it's a NL x Skunk no1 then it's mostly Indica, there's probably about 25% Sativa in that or less i would imagine.
Northern Lights x Skunk # 1 is a F1 super hybrid. The leaves are very sativa dominant. I have have a batch flowering right now and this is week 8 and they are still putting on weight. They have another 2 weeks to go before they are ready so that should put them at about 10 weeks of flowering total and that is with using CO2 with a steady 1500ppm. They say 60 - 55 days but these are going longer. I am not so sure it is only 25% sativia. The high is very sativa dominant. http://www.puresativa.com/product.php?pid=2475

Northern Lights is probably close to 90% indica, if not more. I've heard it called a pure indica but It's widely quoted as having a Mexi as an ancestor, so it's probably not, but pretty damn close. Skunk was supposed to be an alcapolco gold, afgani, lumbo mix, and mostly I've heard it's a 50/50 hybyid (but there are LOTS of phenos out there!).

I think leaf width is probably one of the most ineffective ways of guessing the Pheno early. Not that I haven't tried! Either way, a NL X SK #1 shouldn't be a Sativa Dom plant.

Then again, I shouldn't be sitting here smoking and debating Ganja Genetics...It's all good!

All i can say is that the high is a very good sativa high and the plant looks very sativa dominant. And the flowering time is 10 weeks or more which is on the sativa side. That is why i said that is more than 25% sativa. I would say it is at least 50/50.

Thats interesting. I wouldn't expect that, but that's whats fun about nature and the unpredictability with all this. Who was the breeder and how tall did she get during flower?
I have to read up on the C99 genetics. Haze, Kali Mist, and C99 seem to be capture the most attention and passion from folks.

whazup greenjumble, I just saw you over on the other thread helping out. I came back here (like 3 times today, looking for new ideas). What do you/you guys think of the Sage from TH Seeds, the suggestions by la9 to go with serious (which I like but kali mist takes long), or cannelope haze from DNA. I was thinking of changing seedbanks to try and get that Blueberryxhaze (legends blaze you said, anything else?) or something else you guys reccomended earlier like the C99 Dj Short stuff, but I'm not sure if it's better than the others (including the purple wreck I have now). Appreicate the time and help. Can anyone just throw a few seeds in an envelope with no return address stealth so I don't have to go through all the suffering?

Ceres Seeds is the breeder http://www.ceresseeds.com/cannabisseeds.html. I use clones off of my mother plant. The clones are 4 or 5 nodes tall when i first put them into flower and they grow about about 4 ft . I have to tie them down to keep them under my 400w HPS in my Homebox grow tent. They have a large sativa cola on top and a lot of smaller colas growing up to the light all the way down the stem which are getting larger everyday. Thats what i really like about this strain. It yields nothing but fat cola's with a very good sativa high.

lol... Yeah throw a few in for me too... 1 High Street, Marijuanaville US :bigjoint:

The other place you can go for variety where I got my Seedsman Skunk Haze, which are looking good, which are almost 90% sativa, is the Hemp Depot. They carry a pretty wide selection of Breeders and I got what I asked for. You can check my link on my sig and check them out and see if there of interest. They were reasonably priced. Though it is probably cheaper to do a pick n' mix at Attitude and a couple different Feminized strains for cheap. You might think about doing that so you can try a couple different types all at once for your money. :weed:

Sticky, how do you like the WW? I here different things in terms of the dominance and read different things about it from every different breeder who does WW. I've been curious since its so popular.

The WW i had going in my journal turned hermi so i chopped them all including the mother and made some bubble hash out of it. WW had very heavy resin production. I was very disappointed when i had to chop them. I had gotten those seeds from marijuanaseeds.nl . At least i got some good bubble out of it, so i guess it wasn't a total waste of time. I am going to grow a few more batches of NL x SK#1 to stock up and then i am going to start some more WW with some seeds from Greenhouse seeds who have the original WW http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=21. I also got their Alaskan Ice which is a WW x Haze cross http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=35. and some Big Bag http://www.greenhouseseeds.nl/shop/index.php?target=products&product_id=30

I read it and it seems to lean more Sativa as they describe the height nad possible flowering time getting into 10 weeks. Interesting that he saved the original version of it from GreenHouse.

In hearing them describe the plant they said it's the second shortest Indica they have. Thats so curious to me how over the years breeders change the charctersistics so much. They sound like they really lean in different directions in termso Indica and Sativa mix.
