favorite strain you've grown from seed

I only use a 400w, guess I'm not a real grower.

I run 4 x 1000w galaxy if it matters....

Well, I am a dirt bagger growing under 2000watts ( I hope that is enough for me to be considered a "REAL" grower) My favorite strain hands down for taste, Potency, and yield would have to be Green House Seeds - Super Lemon Haze. The smoke from this lady tastes incredible When smoked it fills the room with such a sweet smoke. However this a a haze and will need a long Veg and even longer Flower, I veg mine 2 months (or aprox 3 ft tall) and The SLh's went almost 12 weeks. Best damn smoke I have EVER had in 30 years of smoking. But because of the length of time to finish her corectly, I wound'nt grow her, But I am .


Now, with that being said I really love the Kush's OG18 was one of my favs great yielder, great smoke, dripping with trichomes






But what the hell do I know I am just a stoner......................

Dude, where you get of on saying anyone under 600 is not worth listening to...

I guarantee a good share on here could do better than you with 400w that you could with 600w.


And for that reason I wont even bother thinking of the millions of vars i have grown from seed under anything from 250-1800w and CFL's.......

Unfortunately I only use a 250 hps and a California Lightworks Solarflare so I don't qualify as a "real grower." Now that I realize what I been doing over the years isn't really growing, I am a little sad. I am excited to see what the "real growers" say though.

Well all of my photoperiod plants are grown outside under the sun....so im not a real grower either!

Well, since I'm not currently using "at least a 600W" so I guess I'm not qualified to answer this.

But I will add the following.

-1 plant under a "lowly" 250W HPS is probably getting more "love" then 4 under a 600W.

-I'm pretty sure the SUN puts out more than 600W, but I guess growing a plot of (say) 40 plants outside doesn't count.

I veg and pre-flower (sex) with 400watt and then switch to 600 for the last 7-9 weeks. Please tell me that qualifies me as a "real grower".

Here it is, 250 watts so i'll not bore you with the details, pity me instead.

I'm in an apartment that gets hot in summer, so I can only use CFLs. I'm not even going to speculate on how that affects my "realness," but I'd recommend Critical Jack Herrer. I grew one feminized plant from seed and I'm happy with the potency and yield.

Clearly you have failed to appreciate the nuances of our humor. If absurd questions weren't openly mocked this really wouldn't feel like RIU to a lot of us. I see you got the memo about saying snarky and silly shit while completely ignoring the op. Well done.

How does Light size affect whether a strain is someones favorite? A 150- 400hps grower that has learned how to master the available light he has can achieve buds as good as a 600 in my opinion. its all about maximising the light! I can get 4 oz's from one plant in 3 gallon pots under a 250hps with only 3 feet of vertical space between pot and bulb. In my book I am damn pleased with that. I live in a non med state but grow for personal med reasons! The few true weed heads that have had the privelege of sampling my offerings, swear they have never had better! man iwould love to have a high wattage grow going just because. But Im flying low under the radar with my personal stash grows. Just looking at that storage bin full of mason jars packed with my own grown buds makes me happier than R Kelly at a girl scout meeting! I know this is a rant but hey, what the hell. Us "not real growers" have something to say also!
