Favorite strains from seed

I was looking to grab clones but it doesn't look like it's gonna happen, so now I need to do some research on good seed strains and was hoping RIU could help me out. So go ahead and name your favorite seed strains... I'm looking for something that taste phenomenal, potency is 2nd on my priority list and yield is 3rd... of course I'd love something that has all 3 features but, hey... Thanks in advance

You'll like Sugar Punch. Pretty sure it's going to be in stock any day now. Of course I guess it depends on the flavors you're looking for. More fruity/skunky/diesel smells in the Sugar Punch. Sativa dominant. Very potent. Nice yielding phenotypes as well of nugs that would be top shelf anywhere.

Thanks OGE... I appreciate your response, and I'll definitely look into the sugarpunch... I tend not to like strains that are too fruity, but I might give it a try. You know of any good spicy or chocolate tasting strains, with potency and yield in mind? Thanks again...

chocolope is supposed to be killer, I'm looking for chocolope kush, the chocolope is supposed to be mostly sativa dom cross of cannalope hae and chocolate tai, supposedly the tastes are awesome but I also recommend proac for exzotic perfume, purp o.g. 18 if u like o.g. taste, Oh and chocolope has rep for large yields also, DNA has good rep and it's theirs

Thanks highfire... I do love OGs, but they yield is just a little too low for my liking... I'll look into the chocolope and check out proac's strains... Thanks man.

I'm currently flowering another round of CC Pre 98 Bubba Kush. I bought the seeds from Attitude and am very pleased with them. I had a friend gift me some of his CA elite cut Bubba that he grew and the Bubba I grew was close, very close and if I was a better grower I'm sure it could be stellar. For me it's quite potent and it's easy to grow and clone and is a lovely plant. Best of all I've only popped 2 seeds but both plants were identical! Nothing like my first grow of Nirvana's Aurora Indica where I got 4 phenotypes from 4 seeds and NONE of them were indica! LOL

Hey Kite, I appreciate it man... I'm really interested in the c99. I don't think I can go with the others due to their long flowering times... You know of any spicy tasting strains?@curious - Thanks for the bubba recommendation. I've always had my eyes on that strain and I'll look further into it... do you know of any spicy tasting strains?

only spicies I know of are sativas with even longer flower times than these

That c99 says 40 days from seed....odd

on the flip side...DNA is so awesome, grown a bunch of their gear and chocolate is top three. Sour cream was good too.
taste wise..lemon skunk or sour grapes(grape stomper) from gage, green. Sour p from resin...but it has been sold out forever

For spicy taste my Aurora Indica was very potent tasting but mid grade high. I wouldn't recommend it, and the spiciness was overwhelming through the vaporizer but it did have an amazing taste. The Pre98 has a deep sort of earthy taste with some minty/citrusey notes via the vaporizer. Again my taste/smell is a bit off from the normal so some other might give a different description so just a caveat there.

I know OG was eliminated early, but OG18xSkunk is awesome, the taste is nothing but old school funk, the addition of Skunk brings the yield up, and the potency is up there with any elite strain.

they are speaking of maturity there...they start preflowering in that time signaling they are ready for the flowering or flip to occur...but honestly they only flower for 48-52b days before ready for chop....go much longer and you lose that magical signature c99 high

dna is good gear...really really like cannalope haze...chocalope is awesome as well

Try one of TH seeds sage crosses, the SAGE itself is a spicy flavor (big sur holy bud x afgani) delicious!
The SAGE, kushage, chocolate chunk, or sage n sour will make you a believer. I have heard the A-train is KILLER.
There is a "spicy" pheno in the original bros grim c99 stock, frost bros stabilized the individual phenos (pineapple, grapefruit, and spice) although I have no idea what their stocks are like right now.

If fruity is your thing I can suggest a few. I've grown some pretty obscure strains. My top 3 fruity strains that I have grown are 1) Grapefruit Krush - Emerald Triangle, 2) Purple - Ceres Seeds, 3) Blue Cheese - Barney's Farm. Best yielder was probably Ceres Purple.

Another good one I can remember was Motavation from Magus, which is now part of Serious Seeds. It was almost exactly as the description. The hint of turpentine/paint comes out after about a month cure.
