I was wondering what RIU's favorite TV shows may be? No need to rank, unless you want to.

I'll just list my number 1:

1. The Wire - absolutely nothing comes close to the depth of this show

I recommend that you quit watching Gilligan's Island. :)

I watch a lot of TV but I need to go to bed. That's why you get my smartass answer instead of a long list.

I don't really care for sitcoms.
I watch stupid-natural and clown it as I enjoy it. My niece and I try to see them all. Not too sure how good its lookin this season.

I love "Police Squad" Older 80s show looks like 70s crime/drama. (Naked gun movies came from this show)
You can find me every night in from of "MysteryScience Theater 3000."
Currently Checking out Twin Peaks, American Gothic, the a team.

I think Weeds sucks TBH. I can't sit there any more and force myself to watch it. For a pretty long time it stopped being about Weed and some other crap. I'd prefer if Kevin Nealon got his own show though. I think he could definitely carry it.

And 30 minute shows suck. They're too quick IMO. If you want me to sit down and watch your commercials, it can't be for a 22 minute show with 8 minutes in commercials. I rather go for 44/16, because those shows are usually far more enticing.

But seriously, watch The Wire!

the wire
trailer park boys
the comeback
damages
the sopranos
freaks and geeks
veronica mars (excluding most of season 3)
arrested development
six feet under
seinfeld
and most everything joss whedon, tv wise, ever

and much to the confusion of most of my friends, I still think south park is great.

I should also include LOST, though I don't believe anyone will see it quite as they're supposed to, with all the suspense, if watching it on dvd.
