Honestly dude, I understand it but never really thought about it. I've definitely experienced the loss of terpenes through heat but noticed it more running bubble, easy to keep a citrus terp present like a tangie but ogs, not so much.
Yeah mate some hold it some lose it that's why or partly at least some of the reason why some things last better than others be it it in hash or flower form
