Anybody watching this?

Wouldn't it suck to have to withdrawal in the midst of the zombie apocalypse? I think so. But maybe I am wrong - it might make it easier seeing that your life has a purpose that normal life might not have lived up to. Is the zombie apocalypse the answer to many of today's problems? Zombie apocalypse might be just what we need. And since the long term prognosis for zombies seems to be that they devolve into a bunch of goo... that a moment before was your best friend's face... well, you'll know what to do.

Am I watching the same show as everyone? I think the characters are unlikable and the story is boring. The Walking Dead set the bar too high, so it’s not fair to compare the two. But I’d rather watch a tween Vampire show than this one. And I don’t like tween shows.

I really wanted to like it, I’ve watched all 4 episodes and I keep thinking it’s going to get better. But the most exciting thing going on is the possibility of someone flashing some glass at the sun?

Do you guys like the characters?

Seriously when does the show start...

Check out blood and oil...my guy wanted to watch it since he worked in the oil fields for 10 yrs....not realistic but lots of action!

I couldn't agree more love the walking dead can't even get into this new show tried but gave up. I think the walking dead is one of my all time favorite shows besides breaking bad. I'm not a big television watcher but do enjoy a good bloody show with a good story.

The infection is supposed to be slow and characters are supposed to be confused

It shouldn't be compared to the walking dead as Rick and his group have no problem going around killing people they once knew to be friends

These characters are going through the first shock

What screwed some watchers is that because they already know the end result it's considered boring because they are emotionally attached to the dynamics of the other group

I’m just not loving the characters. I liked the other characters pretty early on, they made me want to keep watching.

I don’t find these characters that interesting.

Walking Dead has some REALLY slow episodes. Walking, maybe one or two slow zombie deaths, more walking.

Just not enough character development so far in this one for me.

Or maybe I like my zombie’s old and decaying and not new and freshly dead? Either way, I’ll watch something else. No big deal.

The zombies were never their friends, though. I'd have no problem blasting my own mothers used to be head away if it was trying to eat me.

And why the fuck doesn't everyone just carry a ninja sword around? Seriously?

People have died they have known and considered friends or family and turned into zombies
Or people who are dying that must kill I order to stop the process

Where as the new group has a problem doing these things because they are not desensitized to the way the world is going to be from now now

They are confused and are a totally different group dynamic

Hence why we should not compare them to ricks group

I started watching the show after I saw it online at a streaming site years ago, it was pretty awesome. I mean, it had to get darker, that was inevitable with all the crazies trying to rule the new world. I'm gonna keep watching it till the end, which will probably be this season the way its looking.

They can't go too much farther with it because nearly all the initial core characters have been killed off. Fear the dead isn't bad but I agree with you about the new characters, I'm not feeling them either.

It did start out slow but in retrospect, so did TWD. That first episode was an hour and a half long and was mostly Rick by himself figuring things out.

You watch it anymore? It seems to be getting better, I think I'm gonna give it a couple more episodes before I make up my mind. You talking about The Vampire Diaries? I was actually thinking of watching that one myself..lol

Vampire diaries is a tween show for sure. Its not a great show unless you like teen angst. But from what I saw it more entertaining than this one. FTWD

Quantico is a new show, its pretty good so far. Tres exciting! I’d recommend it.

I like True Blood myself, more for grown ups! :D but I'm thinking of giving it a shot

Quantico? I've heard of it but I have no idea what its about..
