And yet, the teachings of Jesus have never had less of a place in government than now. Ironic isn't it?

Most of the Christians I know are terrible people. Not all. One minister I've known for 60 years is a true believer and follower whether I believe or not. Actually mormans I've known have been wonderful. My problem is don't force me to believe that way or it's no better than what is going on in madrasas. Now the angry white christians have taken over. Sad

would you ignore a warning letter from the feds?....
He might. And, when busted, would find a way to blame Obama. Failing that, he would see that this is obviously a benevolent attempt to reclassify cannabis as a schedule IV drug - a test case. When that fails, he will say how happy his is to be safe behind a $50 billion wall and start gobbling pain pills like a real Amurican.

The only problem with this is it isn't just trump. It's all the republicans in the house and senate, as well as at the state level. These are THEIR policies, not his. And giving gerry mandering and the lack of progressive turnout in mid-year elections, the house and senate will be just where they are now, if not more red.

You can play around the edges with presidential orders, but they don't amount to a lot. The actions of the DoJ do matter, but those can be changed by a new admin, however unlikely that is. But legislation can be nearly permanent. And they own the whole ball of wax.

However bad you think it will be, it will be worse, and 90% of it you may never see because nobody will be reporting on it.
i don't think its ALL the republicans, most of the republicans were already there under obama, its not like the whole roster changed last election. they didn't have any problems with legalization under obama, and as soon as trump is gone, they'll have no problem with it under whoever replaces him

High Times has responded by sending a message to vendors and attendees telling them not to bring any cannabis to the cup.

"But now federal authorities have intervened directly with our host venue, the land of the Moapa Band of Paiutes. Subsequently, we've been informed that our upcoming Cannabis Cup event in Nevada ‪on March 4-5 can proceed as planned, but vendors, guests, performers and attendees are advised to comply with applicable law concerning the distribution of cannabis in any amount at the event. In order for the cannabis industry to continue to earn legitimacy and social acceptance, we understand that rules and laws need to be abided."

Lol.
