Feeding after flushing for Cal/Mag lockout?

Hey guys, this is my first post here and I know you get a lot of cal/mag lockout related posts but mine is specific! This is my first grow and I have a mixed group of strains in roots organic and fox farm ocean forest soil, which I vegged for three months and am currently in the third week of flowering. I alternate a watering and feeding about every two days and am currently feeding with 1/3 strength Roots organic buddha bloom with 5ml of Age Old Kelp. Two days ago, about three of the plants suddenly had these orange-yellow blotches appear on a few of the new leaves, consistent with what appears to be a calcium problem. There is also signs of magnesium problems in several leaves on the rest of the plants, especially my Querkle and my Jack Herer which are having widespread Yellowing. I checked the soil pH and it read 5.8 so it seems obvious that I am experiencing lockout and I flushed the plant with R/O water yesterday. My question is, how long should I let them clear out before I feed them again? The plants don't show anymore progression of cal/mag issues but it has only been a day so I'm sure that it's too early to really tell. My jack and querkle are still yellowing though, which makes me want to feed em but I don't want to make any lockout issues worse! Any help would be appreciated!

and p.s I don't have a ppm meter unfortunately, no money for that at the moment.

wait at least 4-5 days or until soil is fairly dry but not overly dried out! also for feeding start with 1/2 strength for the first feed to see how they react to it

Once youve flushed with higher ph water you don't have to wait...as long as your drainage is proper you should have no problems adding what you need right now

As of today, the soil pH is sitting at 6.8 and is gonna be dry tomorrow so I am gonna feed them then. however, I would like to show some photos of leaves so you guys cn get a clearer idea of what is going on.These are some of the worst leaves on the plants that I'm particularly having trouble with. The first image is of some of the Querkle leaves which is having issues all over, though not as extreme as these leaves. The middle pic is from my "The Void", and the leaf came from the top of the plant, right off of the cola. And the last picture is from the jack herer, and came from higher up in the plant. 0216031317.jpg0216031317a.jpg0216031318.jpg

Just fed yesterday at half strength with 1ml Fulvex and 2 ml Kelp per gallon added. Hopefully that isn't too much, but I'm gonna continue with just bloom fertilizer after this. Be back in a few days with pics.

The first pic is the querkle, the second the jack, and the last one is critical-jack. The damage seems to be stopping, with only previously affected leaves getting worse, no obvious new damage. And the bottoms of the plants are GREEN!! Is there anything in the pictures that sticks out to anybody? And should I continue to feed at half strength? Or drop it down a bit soon?

im glad it worked out for you and its getting better like I suggested before remain at 1/2 strength for one more feeding then do after that a full dosage

Won't full strength be too strong? Everybody always tells me to give maximum half the recommended dosage on the bottle.

you are so far a long in the grow that your plant should be able to handle a full dosage now especially since you have fixed the problems she was having, if you arent't comfortable doing full strength then do 3/4 dosage

:)

Alright lol I'm just worried about hurting my babies again, I'll hit them with the full dose though and see how they react!

Whoa! so I havent hit my plants with full strength fertilizer yet and the leaves are turning yellow again! it seems like a P K deficiency so I'm gonna hit it with full strength the next time I fertilize or should I do it tomorrow to catch up? Kr4x, are these pics consistent with underfeeding?

Yea light green generally means it wants more N. Just my 2 cents i would have not cut those fan leaves from the plant. They are not 100% healthy but any green means it is alive and still contributing photosynthesis for your plant. I generally try to take all my pictures with them still intact on the planet. Once the leaf looks like its going to fall off itself is when you should pull it.

I know some will argue with me to clip them right away though.

Sounds like they are rootbound? They are about 4 foot tall and in 3 gallons, was gonna get 5 gallons tomorrow.
