Feeding Caffeine to plants?

So I got this idea if I can feed my plants molasses and they become sweeter, could I do the same with caffeine? Could I crust up caffeine tablets (after removing the slow release coating) mix it with filtered water and molasses (as a binder) and feed it to the plants? :-P

I'm thinking about giving it to my Sativa near the end of flowering. My goal is to create a heady, energetic high with no laziness or clouded thought. What do you think?

I'd be afraid it would kill the plant. And I really doubt that caffeine would go to or remain in the buds. Plus, I don't know that smoking caffeine would work.

If you want an energetic head buzz, grow sativa or a strain with those qualities, and harvest before the trichs go amber

bad idea. a plant would not benefit anything from caffeine. Also, molasses does not make buds sweeter, it is only food for the soil.

Well I read something that caffeine does make some plants grow faster and other slower which is kind of interesting. About the molasses I'm using it right now (made by Humboldt nutrients) while it may not make it taste sweeter (4 week of flowering don't know yet lol) it has improved the smell a lot :bigjoint:
