Feeding Cold water!

Hi guys just a quick one, i have my grow in my garage in the UK and as you can imagine we are near zero degrees celcius now, my tent is all good as i have a oil rad inside and it keeps the temps up and with lights on its even warmer but my nute tank is just in my garage and the water is very cold, i have one of them water heaters but it doesnt really do anything to be honest, is/could this be a problem or does it not really make any difference do you think? If so what temps should my water be at for feeding at the lowest as ill never make the highest haha!

freezing water will shock n stress younger plants. slide the bucket into the warm area

I use a 100litre nute tank so im affraid that wont be going anywere haha, but i could however fill a bucket up with the days feed and place it into the tent so it will be at tent temperature when i feed would that suffice until the weather gets a little better this way?

And just to add my water is cuurently at about 7 to 10 degrees, its not actually freezing but the weather is freezing haha!

You can't get a little aquarium heater in there to bump it up to 15C?

Maybe throw some insulation around the tank as well. If the heater you have in there isn't doing anything, I'd say get a better heater and insulate. That's about all you can do if you can't move it to a warmer area.

Put a couple or more aquarium heaters in the tank if need be and go get a water tank insulation jacket to wrap around it. I would say your temps need to be in the 16-19c range......

Id persnally make a little shelter made out of insulation and whatnot. You could have a small heater inside the insulation and use as much insulation as necessary. Id think itd be a pretty simple/cheap solution.

I started growing in Feb last year so im new, but I dont even like my water to be any colder than the roots at all.

Use a smaller tank bro, the more volume of water the harder it will be to keep warm(ish)
Another point is if ur mixing up a 100litre of water I'm guessing this is lasting over a week at least?
Me personally I like to mix up my water/nutes daily or for the coming week only as it means there will be more oxygen and fresher water going to plants

Thanks for the advice guys, appreciate it, i will get some insulation and see how that helps, i have also bought a garage heater and my garage is now at 15 degrees anyway so it should be fine from now hopefully
