mollases is normally used around week 6-8 anyone correct me if im wrong...you need a good flowering regimen throughout the flowering cycle and then toward then end it is good to add the mollases i believe..it doesnt add much nutrients mainly for taste and sugars i think ?! havent used myself but i do know ive always used a nute regimen aimed at the flowring cycle which is really a must regardless of molasses

You can use molasses from day one. Simple sugars feed the plant and associated heterotrophic microorganisms, while it also contributes iron (not sure in how bioavailable of a form) and other good shit. Just make sure it is unsulphured (will still contain sulphites) and don't overdo it at first.

Plain old table sugar is used in tissue culture since the plant obtains this carbon source directly from the medium without having to bother converting light energy first. In this case, removal of this food source is followed by a slow adaptation of the plantlet towards generating its own energy - so if you feed your plants simple sugars you should probably continue to do so.

Hey there, I have been using molasses for many years now and I love it. I use 1 Tablespoon per gallon and apply every two weeks of the vegetative stage and every time I water/feed in the flowering stages. It not only helps feed the biology but adds minerals and vitamins to the soil as well. Hope this helps!

Molasses is great for feeding your micro life but it is best used in compost teas. There is a world of knowledge out there so I will keep this very brief. I hope these links are helpful! Follow the ROLS thread and it will save you a fortune on soil and you can chunk the bottled nutrients in the trash! Enjoy
