Feeding question Lucas ratio

Am i understanding correctly that I go 8/16 to the res then add in only ph water until I have added the amount equal to the res? No nutes in the added water?

I'm not sure what you're asking. You need 8ml of micro and 16ml of bloom per gallon of water. If you have a ten gallon rez you need 80/160. Never mix nutes together always add to water and don't ph the water until you have all the nutes added.

I read that page. I was also reading somewhere else and it was saying to add ph'd water to top off res. If u have a 10 gal res then when you have topped off ten gallons worth then you change the res.
In that description it was just saying to add the water only. But wouldn't this dilute my res and under feed my plants?

Not if you change your Rez every 7 days. You want a little fluctuation.

I see what your sayin. If your rez is down a couple gallons yeah just top it off with plain water between rez changes. You shouldn't have any under feeding issues as long as you're doing regular rez changes you'll be ok. If check it with a ppm/ec meter you'll find sometimes it'll rise when the plant uses more water than food and vice versa. I would ph the water after you top off the rez. I don't know if the link above says this but you're always suppose to add micro 1st

you can top off with plain water or with nutes either way is fine.

i change it every 7 days. i do drain to waste so i don't top off at all.

what form of hydro are you doing?

Aeroponics. Homemade tub. 2x 600 watt hps.
I'm on week three of flower been doing 7.5 ml of all three.
About to go into week four and I'm going to do the Lucas ratio.
Currently I'm adding 4 gallons of fucking water everynight. My temps are a little high. About to replace 10000 btu with 14000 btu portable ac.
Could be using alot of water just because they're big too. Big roots and alot of growth. I fucked up training them. Didn't top them. Changed to a modified scrog . Lol. Alot of growth


This pic was maybe week and a half two weeks ago. They stretched like crazy. I have a few colas almost touching the light. I tied them to bend them down sideways a bit. They look pretty good in my novice opinion.
With the exception of them not being topped and trained properly from the beginning.
