Is Pre-flowering bad? Maybe im reading ur post wrong. You are very welcome! They are so freakin green I mean ive seen grows but, so much green...green green.

I don't think pre-flowering is bad....I think it just shows the plant is ready to be flowered..its talking to you saying that it is maturing. Their stalks are super fat too.....I need to take upclose pics of the undergrowth-you guys are gonna love it!:peace:

somebody got some lights from lowesssssss!! i have one those 300W beasts and hoods as well. the only drawback i can see from the domes is they wont be as efficient as a side mounted CFL. having the side of your bulb facing the plants puts more usable/efficient light onto the plants. more bulb surface area compared to the tip/end of the bulb. food for thought, but i know how it is making do with what you find here and there, its a game we all play.

Your journal is going great. Many thanks.

I like the addition of the CFL's and am looking forward to see the results.

The cfl's can throw enough light from their tips, but it's localized to a smaller area (like a spot light). I agree about setting up these cfl's horizontally, but if someone had 1 or 2 plants, pointing 4 cfl's tips is a good way to add more lumens to localized areas. Just wanted to clarify.

Stems are really thick too. Nice job on adding the cfls they will help. I only use cfls but like to mix during flowering. Always watchin this thread you can count on it!
