CS does not stress a plant to produce a hermi. CS stops the plant from producing ethylene gas which is what makes the plant female, without it, it grows male parts on an otherwise female plant. These pollen sacs have no y chromosomes.
You also wouldn't self pollenate an already over mature plant, you would collect pollen from the plant and pollenate a clone, that's a shit practice though. To Use CS spray nodes (avoiding fan leaves, it can be hard on them) of plants daily a week before switching to flower and for a week after then start your female to be pollenated flowering. Keep them together. You will have fem seeds as stable as the mother. Breed wit an unstable plant get unstable seed.
