Fem WW: 6 of 8 are male. What gives?

As stated, I just put 8 Feminized white widows from attitude into flowering cycle and 6 of 8 turned out to be male. Seems like I'd have better odds with regular seeds. I've heard of females going hermie but can they change to straight up males?

Also, a couple pollen sacks had opened bye the time I got the males out. Am I screwed?

You said the beans are from Attitude but who is the actual breeder? Who actually made the beans that Attitude sold to you? Also are they actual males or are they hermi's?

if the ball sacks have opened up then the pollen has already been pushed into the air... so chances are your females may be ready for to turn hermy now... if this is the case at least grow em till you can get more seed off the plants then you wont have to buy em again, although the seeds you get off the plant will not be feminized seeds but at least you wont have to by seeds for a while!

I cant remember what breeder. I tried to find order info but came up with nothing. I'm pretty positive they are male. There is no sign of anything except hundreds of pollen balls.

I thought I would still get buds, but with seeds?

Not to sound offensive but I find it impossible to believe that someone cannot remember the breeder they picked to purchase their line of gear from through any seedbank.

It is very important to remember such things so if you have problems and you know it was not due to something you did that you will not pick the same breeder again or at the very least not pick the same strain from the same breeder again.

I guess you have deleted the order and shipping confirmation emails from Attitude that would have mentioned what you purchased and would include whose gear it was.

As to what happened if they are real males there is always the chance that a pack of regular beans were mixed up with the feminized beans and Attitude shipped them by mistake or regular beans were packaged wrong by the breeder and you ended up with them.

I would notify Attitude and see if they will do something. I would be very polite and just explain what happened and ask if anyone else had a similar experience .. and again I would do it in a very polite way and not bitch, piss and moan … and if nothing else Attitude might at least give you a discount code for your next order and they might send you a few freebies and they might even replace them. I would not hold my breath for a replacement if they were high dollar seeds but you likely will get some form of compensation ….. at least you might if you can remember whose gear you purchased so you can tell them and sound like you know what you are talking about.

It is so odd, i bought some seeds from a med. dispensery cost $60.00 for 12, and i bought a gram of some OG bubba that had seeds, i ended up with 4 from that, i used 4 on my first grow and the 4 of the OG bubba, of those 7, 1 pulled because male, the others all turned hermi, during flower, and i hung them and used the seed for my next grow, so far i ended up with 1 male and 4 girls, two bubba and 2 choc. chunk. and the seeds from my first grow so far 2 are girls and in 3 week of flower. and even now if i had a hermi, i would move it and get another harvest of seeds......and the other day i got a gram and got lucky and found a seed so i will hope to get a new stain on my next grow, i will put my new batch to germ this weekend.......

ya, what a joke. the site looks real good and professional. at least all of the seeds germinated though and seem to be healthy besides the fact that they didnt autoflower. This is my first grow too, and now after 5 weeks of vegging I switched to manual flowering. we'll see what happens now. If they still get some fat buds, I wont be as pissed. but its still bs cause they were like $70.
