Female pollination by a hermaphrodite plant

When I said I had problem with germination I was talking about my second grow gemination using seeds from plants pollinated during my first grow.

Sure I am inexperienced in growing but let's not confuse two different grows.
For now they are 18 days in flower and all look to be pure females. However there is a couple of strange plants.
One is really slow on growing white hair and has all top leaves standing up. Another has something similar to a pollen sack but it has hair growing from what seems to be a sack and I can see only one sack in one place, not over all the plant.

Imo leaves standing up is too much light, for me anyway.

It came across like you struggled with germination, no big deal.

I occasionally find a nana, as for bad seed i aint had any like that. Mainly herms come from stress, i again say leaves standing up is not natural or a good sign qed.

Do more grows, all will come clear, some strains treat you better so find a winner and grow nothing else.

I figured out what's wrong with the one with the leaves standing up. It sits next to a hole for exhaust. Even though on the other side of a wall there is a quite dark area and the hole is covered with a grille everytime I turn lights in my garage a light behind a wall is turning on for 3-5 minutes.
When it happens there is a tiny bit of light coming through the exhaust hole and it looks like this plant is confused with day/night time. I took one bulb pointing into that direction off(it is a motion detection light with two bulbs) and put a panel to block any light that is coming from one bulb. It should be ok now.

That does not explain the top leaves pointing up though but it explains why it is very slow with flowering.

It cannot be too much light for it as it is a side plant sitting under 600W LED. The next one on a side is also under the same light and flowering very well. The rest are sitting under 1200W LED and have no problems with flowering.

From a real hermaphrodite you can get regular "male and female", or feminized seeds when you pollinate a female. There is no way to tell which is which. Best thing is to avoid using hermaphrodite pollen. There are circumstances where you might want the hermaphrodite. Such as you're planning on hiking into a remote spot and want to try and start a self sustaining patch of cannabis. In that instance a hermaphrodite or traits from would be helpful to ensure that the species survives.
