Ditch the dealer in action folks, sick of paying kids £400 a month for weed but as always daylight robbery prices.

Lights: 3 600 digital hps
Wilma big 9 and a wilma big 4, clay pebbles.
Canna aqua nutes with pk and a couple of doses of boost along the way.... would have cost £££'s for the whole of flower so brought £50's worth just to test.
10" carbon filter and ruck fan extracting into the loft from growroom bellow
mylar up in chamber and the upper half is finished in a fetching pink paint (daughters bedroom from when she was living at home)
Thats about as far as I went as its all for personal and not a cannabis factory, strain selected was female seeds grapefruit as it is my favorate smoke of them all..... smoked shit loads of it, never grew it before though. She caught me out bigtime and the stretch was HUUUUUGE, I had to tie them down many times and now have 10 monsters all strung up on day:
76 from seed germinating, vegged under 24/0 for 2 weeks then flipped to 12/12 and started counting flower a week later when they stared showing flowers (very quick imo) so now its day 51 of flower and from other grows I'm predicting them to be ready around the 20th-25th of this month so around day 65-70 flower. They smell like grapefruit and the yield is looking nice
Sorry in advance for all my pics been under hps, I will to full pics when I pull them under good lighting and follow up with yield/smoke repots etc.

Modified the wilma big 4 drip manifold as that was the worst delivery system ever in the whole world of irrigation imo, replaced with the same reef safe plumbing I use of aquariums and it is a million times better than their poxy effort, flows great even with the stock mj500 pump.... chucked a mj 100 on the stock system and it still was poor..... clearly a big big fail with loads of leaks and this is hardly a high pressure drip system lol... Rant over but behold
Anyway pics of the plants along the way.... no pics of veg only started when they went into flower, my bad, very busy.... sorry about the hps
I cannot remember the exact day of the above pics but I knew I had one beast of a jungle going off... pure sativa, mixed with good lighting and the wilma roots are also in the res with an airstone so its dwc and drippers..... growth as crazy they stretched out in flower until around day 35 regardless of light height and anything else I tried so I had to tie a few about but they responded well.
These are my latest pics from the grapefruit jungle, its day 51 of flower and I think 20 days max she'll be down but she wont be coming down until done. Feeding wise I'm coming down its around 1.0 at the min, they never were big feeders tbh even on boost as the flowers piled on they would take no more than about 1.8ec, plant is to let them use this and see where I am in a weeks time and go to water then. The pics dont show the orange pistils so they may look less done than they are but there is still loads of new growth so some way to go yet though they wont outlast the month no way so time will tell.
Deffo not an 8 weeker although I never expected it to be, I know pr when I see it but I would 100% grow female seeds grapefruit again.... 9 beans of this left and I could reveg any of these no problem, it also clones very well for those wondering I did 5 with clonex and 5 with just some snippers and straight tapwater.... all 10 took withing 10 days.
My super airflow snapped a small branch on a branch today so here is a micro bud of day 51 grapefruit and shows better how the rest out of the hps...
Harvest date, I would say between the 20th and end of month perhaps, no doubt some of you guys have grown this before, I have about half clear a fair few cloudy and only a few random ambers so a way to go..... guesses welcome?
Yield, crazy I planned for 1oz per plant as the last wilmas I grew in years ago were spcaed tighter than these big versions, and I only had 1 600w light.... who knows what this semi out of control jungle will bring me but I think I'll still be smoking grapefruit this summer
Feel free to give me advice or just mock me for letting these sativas pwn me..... 1st time back growing for a good 5 years though so on the basis of all this grape jungle I've grown I can forgive myself just this once lol. I will get some none hps lit pics very soon of the final stint of this grow. Will do pics of harvest and update etc etc.
ps: A join of that snapped branch quick dried apart from tasting like quick dried bud (harsh) did have a fruity hit to it and was as good as the random but very nice street weed I am smoking atm.... good signs of things to come
