Fertilizing Long Flowering Sativa's

Aloha. I was wondreing if anyone had any ideas on what might be added to yellowing long flowering sativa strains? They seem to be very sensative to liquid ferts, like the roots organic,.... They are about 8 weels into flower and seem to have at least 4 more weeks. Strains are: haze x thai malawi gold mulanje gold dr. Grispoon skunk 1 x haze panama red I want them to green up a bit so they can finish strong, but dont want any leafy growth. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Mahalo
 
bone meal might be a good ammendment to work into the top few inches of soil then saturate very well. stuff i got is high in P and quite a bit of N. not sure about any liquid ferts though.
 
I like to use worm castings to supplement the feeding of long flowering Sativa. I just sprinkle a layer of castings across the topsoil and give them a good watering. The nutrients from the worm poop will leach into your soil. They contain only about 2% Nitrogen, so may not be the quick fix to green that you are looking for, but they also include several micro-nutrients such as Ca and Mg, which long flowering plants also tend to show deficiencies in. Worm castings help to condition your soil throughout the flowering phase and because of their low nutrient content, can be used together with your usual flowering nutrients without burning your plants. Fish emulsion will probably bring more immediate help, but go easy with that stuff. It's potent.
 
Man I don't know. I am going to try to make subcools super soil to see if that works a little better, but mine are forever underfed or overfed. There is no way to use liquid ferts and get it I don't think...I have gotten closer this go round though, but not using fertilizers, using liquid soil amendments...same kinda thing, i still managed to overdo it right at first, but they don't burn they just show you in other better ways that you have overdone it..all mine have claw leaves now because of the start of flower they freaked out...all the bud leaves are straight, cuz jeez they just needed to chill out...I picture sativas as really uptight, anxious plants. Mine scare easy anyway....So good luck organic things are the way to go they won't tolerate much of anything else as far as I can tell...
 
Neptune's harvest fish hydrolysate is 2-4-1 and blackstrap molasses might help a bit too. Other than that yes super soil will help next time.

I think i will go with some liquid fish on some, and the worm castings on some, i like the bone meal idea as well, i just think i am a little too close to the end, i should have amended with that earlier, next run!

Bone meal is slow release and takes a long time to break down. I would personally brew some tea with some good compost .
 
+1 on the bone meal. Some bat guano is high in P and you can top dress with that and it gradually leach in. I haven't figured out how long it takes for this 'leach' to happen. Sunleaves makes a seabird guano with a lot of N and P that comes in pellet form. To my mind, it seems like it takes pellets longer to break down, so you get some time release that way as well.
