Few beginner questions/pics

So I was basically wondering if this type of lighting is good enough for just 1 plant. photo.JPG

I´ve no way of checking if its 20W, 50W or 100W etc because Im living with my parents and yeah it would be suspicious if I asked besides im barely 18. I previously grew an outdoor one which didnt survive for more than 2-3 weeks considering the weather and it actually grew really slowly. This is on I germinated about two days ago, photo (1).JPGso im wondering if I should start it with these lights which seem strong to be honest, on 18-20 hours of light/day.

You should be fine with that light til it hits veg state. Then you're going to need more.

As nick88 said, it'll be fine for a seedling and the first couple weeks of veg, but you will need a lot more light for it to thrive. I'd say just wait until you have your own place and then you can do it right.

Thanks guys, so how much do you think this can grow with these lights? like what height should I grow it until I try and get better lights?

You should be good til it hits about 6-10 inches, make sure you add more soil to give it support for future growth.
Also, IMO it won't hurt to grow two, but it'll suck balls if you found out this was a male/hermi. You may want to look into buying feminized seeds, or just through another one beside that one.

Thanks mate, I used the seeds from some good bud I found and hope its female, :(. How many weeks do you think it should take till its about 6 inches +?

where is this in your house? have you looked into stealth grows? also yeah your going to need a stronger light as said by the rest of the group if it was me id veg it inside tell mid spring then find a nice place to plant do to parents but if there cool with it which is sounds they may not be your going to have issues in flowering

Thanks for the input, I currently live in South America therefore there is no possibility of getting a stealth grow that I know of. My parents allowed me to grow it however, there are gardners that come like twice a week because we have a big garden therefore I cant let them see it or we would be pretty much fucked. Im going to go look for some lamps and bulbs at some shops this week-end and see what happens.

Anyway how long do you guys think it should take to grow up to 6 inches + ?

At least. Please do not compromise your parents. I promise one day we can grow this plant without impunity, but until we do, your family comes first...

Just an updtate, I changed my plant setting to the following:

Just wondering if you guys can suggest if this is a good idea having alluminum foil with a 45 Watt lightbulb and the other light above it..

Well no offense to your knowledge, but just because the bud is good doesn't necessarily mean the seed is good or even a female.
After the vegetative stage, when the plant is going into flower, it strives to pollinate from the males. If the female receives pollen it will be less potent and less big, along with a lot of seeds.
Feminized seeds are seeds that are produced by the female plant without pollen from a male plant, so the seed will have only female genetics.
If a male plant pollinates a female plant, the seed could be male or female.
If a hermaphroditic plant pollinates a female plant you will receive a lot of seeds, and they will be about 95% female.
So if you grow a hermi, just pull off a pollen sack and sprinkle the pollen on a female top, you will have a good amount of fresh female seeds, some male.

Also, it will grow kinda fast at first, about 6 inches within 5-7 days. After that happens just add more soil to it in order to keep it supported.
You can do this when you transplant as well, but adding support is something that must be done.
( Idk how nature's weed doesn't fall over when it's a seedling... )
