Im having a few problems so i thought i would ask the experts.

I have germinated my seeds and planted them into good soil (organic soil by mirrical grow) it has come up through the soil and formed 2 green leafs but after a few days these leafs have started to go yellow and look to be drooping. Also the top of the soil looks to be going white like a mild moss.
I bought some Formulex Nutrient solution for my plant and have followed the guide lines with feeding the plant once weekly with this formulex stuff. i am watering my plant once daily.

I also bought some ionic Grow but i am unsure on when to introduce this to my plant ?

all comments are good thanks

you are probably over-nuting your plant. it's too small and doesn't need much other than water and soil right now. don't over-water either, that will also kill your seedling.

not so sure about that white shit in your mg...

read up a little more there's the grow faq, it's really good!

you could probably use the nutrients at half strength 3 weeks after planting your germinated seed. that should be good.

dude dude u don't just follow the package u do a little less and add to it if any thing. and M G has its own nutes as is dont they, and from what u said they are just the first leaves from germ. how man days old are they.lol. i mean read the grow FAQ it tels you when to add them, i mena rule of thumb in my garden is if it aint broke don't fix it. meaning if the are good and green then they have enough to grow once the start slowing or somethign thats when you go to add. they have the will to grow and survive ur just helping them on their way not push them thorugh th door. You can make the plant grow is what im say. you can only let the plant grow.

Miracle grow got it's name because it is a miracle anything grows in that crap.

Miracle grow is composted bark with time released nutrients in it. If you are going to use that crap, then deffiniately do not feed your plant for 3-4 weeks. As for the first leafs turning yellow and dieing, that is natural. And you said something about just watering with plain water every day. That is way to much water. Should only be every 3-4 days.

Think about useing COCO. This stuff is almost impossible to over water. Coco has all the benifits of soil with the ease of hydro. Foxfarm is also a good soil. Buy it at your hydroponics store.

Good luck.

You really need to read GrowFAQ. But here goes a quick crash course. First, water when the soil is dry. This will normally be every 2nd or 3rd day. You can mist with water from a spray bottle a couple times a day. It will reduce stress on the plant and will increase the time between watering.

Many people on RIU do not like Miracle-Gro products. I use M-G Azalea food on my mature plants. Young plants need nothing other than water and soil. M-G often has time-release ferts which can be harsh and provide unexpected results. So, at this time NO added fertilizer is needed.

The first set of leave that a bean produces will be round and fat. The second leaf set will look normal. So don't worry about your first leaves. Be careful from here on, however.

cant you make a pic of yur pot , i mean watering a small tiny plant like that everyday cant be good , you wil make the roots lazy beczause they not have to work to get water.
and beleve me you dont need any vitamins into the soil because you bought good soil.
so my idea here is again to many water :)

im checking this board a bit today and 95% of the problems here is because to wet or to dry or to small pot, and because of that people gonna test things with ph/ec and playing nutty proffesor on the plants and make things worst.

and if you guys dont beleve me just look at my pics in the gallery , i dont use any ph/ec meter , i just wet my finger and stick it into the air :D

greets

Water that is way out of ph range will quickly kill many plant strains.
