Hey growers
I know I have lots of questions. But I just want the knowledge In ffof soil added 30% perlite 8 weeks later and soil pretty compressed. Just wondering For future grows how to avoid this. I bought a big bag of perlite but will buy other stuff if need be. A real good grower on here suggested I can use pumice rocks mixed in to help and another suggested lava rocks ? Was hoping to get a few ideas off here. So please anyone chim in please

You don't want your roots, especially younger roots to fight through a compacted soil... Fluff your soil out. Like making fluffy scrambled eggs  cannabis roots grow faster in a looser soil. Usually with a 20-30% perlite mixed in. Roots thrive when then don't have to struggle through a wet muddy soil/medium.

How do I do this without damaging any roots. ? And how avoid this in future. ?

Sorry, but what I meant exactly was fluff the soil in your container/pot. Before you transplant or if ya just plant the bean in it final container. And water lightly according to the plants needs.
